After a phenomenal 11-run bottom of the ninth against the Owlz on Friday, the Jackalopes once again scored over 20 runs to win 23-9 at home on Saturday and make it four straight victories for them. Things once again got out of hand for the Owlz late in the game, this time conceding 10 runs in the bottom of the eighth. The Jacks' infield produced some strong batting lines, with shortstop Colin Gordon going 3-for-5 with a home run and five RBIs, third baseman Kokko Figueiredo producing five runs on a double, a home run, and three walks, and second baseman Jaylen Hubbard's two doubles and a triple. Northern Colorado's Henry George was the team highlight of the night, going 4-for-5 with a home run. The Owlz still hold the lead on the South Division standings, but now see both Boise and Ogden just half a game behind, while Grand Junction moves two and a half games back. The Jackalopes will aim for the series sweep on Sunday at 2:05 PM.
Dickey Outduels Widell on the Mound, Vibes Get Home Win Against Hawks
Kevin Dickey recorded his first win of the season for the Rocky Mountain Vibes after a dominant performance on the mound going for six innings pitched without allowing a run and five strikeouts, only giving up three hits. Ryley Widell had another good performance on the mound, once again getting nine strikeouts also in six innings pitched, but this time conceding three earned runs. the Vibes bats were consistent throughout the day, getting Rocky Mountain the 7-4 win to level the contest against Boise, led by Casey Petersen, who went 4-for-5 with a long ball. The series decider will play out in Colorado Springs on Sunday at 1:05 PM.
PaddleHeads Bullpen Dominates, Helps Beat Voyagers 9-8
Missoula also reached four straight victories, taking this week's series against the Voyagers. Ryan McCarthy helped propel the Voyagers to an early lead with two homers by the fourth inning. Missoula built its comeback with three runs in the bottom of the sixth, supported by a solid outing from their bullpen. Liu Fuenmayor recorded the win, as Missoula's pitchers combined for 11 strikeouts and five scoreless consecutive innings. The series finale will be played tomorrow at 2:05 PM in Missoula, where kids aged 12 and under get in free this Sunday.
Backed by Arevalo, Ogden Beats Idaho Falls 10-2
A complete game last Sunday gave Pablo Arevalo the honors of the PBL South Pitcher of the Week last week, and he picked up this Saturday right where he left off. The Ogden pitcher produced another solid outing, with seven strikeouts and just two earned runs in 6 1/3 innings pitched. Second baseman Dakota Conners went 4-for-4 with three RBIs, as Rafael Narea and Brian Dansereau both went yard for the Raptors. Ogden leads this week-long series against the Chukars 3-2, with the finale playing out on Sunday at 2 PM.

Billings efficiency woes continued this Saturday, as the Mustangs lost at home 15-8 despite outhitting the visiting Range Riders 14-10. Glacier took control of the game early, scoring seven runs in the top fourth capped off by home run number seven for Ben Fitzgerald, who tied Ron Washington Jr. from the Jackalopes for the league lead in homers. Tyler Pohlman and Keagan McGinnis produced solid innings of work for the Mustangs from the mound, with no runs scored on five innings pitched, but the Billings bats left 13 men on base. Glacier has only dropped one game in this series against Billings and will look to maintain their North Division lead in the standings this Sunday at 1:05 PM
