While other top teams have wavered in the second half the PaddleHeads have proved why they are the best team in the PBL yet again with their performance last night. Taking on the Voyagers, the PaddleHeads only held a three-run lead going into the eighth inning. They then produced a nine-hit, 10-run inning, in which left fielder Thomas DeBonville singled and hit a three-run homer. In total, DeBonville went 3-for-6 with two homers and five runs batted in. The PaddleHeads moves to 50-20 on the year, continuing to distance themselves from other contenders in the PBL. The Voyagers will look for a better result tonight at 7:00.

Billings 6, Northern Colorado 4: Mustangs Beat Owlz for Third Win in a Row
The Mustangs and Owlz have had similar seasons so far in the 2023 PBL season. Both teams finished the first half third in their respective divisions and are sitting around .500 in their second-half records. However, Billings has been the hotter team as of late and showed it again in this contest, making it their third win in a row. After scoring three in the bottom of the first and a solid performance from starter Brandon McPherson the game was tied at four for the seventh-inning stretch. Catcher John Michael Faile then delivered, hitting a two-run blast for what ended up as the winning runs for the Mustangs.
Idaho Falls 6, Grand Junction 4: Chukars' Bats Get Hot Early to Take Down Jackalopes

Scoring all six of their runs by the fifth inning, Sam Troyer went 4-for-5 and Mark Herron Jr. drove in three runs. Idaho Falls' pitching held things down for the remainder of the game. Starter Joe Slocum performed well going almost six, allowing three runs, and collecting the win, while Brian Williams shut the door collecting his seventh save in 1 2/3 innings of work. The Chukars will look to make it three in a row on Saturday at 6:35.
Boise 8, Glacier 5: Hawks Bounce Back at Home and Even Series at Two
With the first three games of the six-game series home for Glacier, the Range Riders took two of three. After the travel day on Thursday, the series traveled to Boise, where the Hawks looked more comfortable at home. Falling behind 3-2 in the middle of the fifth inning, Boise scored two runs in three consecutive innings pushing the game out of reach for Glacier. Trevor Minder, Ronnie Allen Jr., and Anthony Walters all went deep in the winning effort for Boise. The Hawks and Range Riders will look to finally gain some momentum in the second half as both clubs sit multiple games below .500.
