Billing Mustangs 12, Great Falls Voyagers 5
The Billings Mustangs triumphed over the Great Falls Voyagers with a commanding 12-5 victory. The Mustangs displayed a robust offense, scoring in six of the nine innings. Taylor Lomack and Patrick Mills led the charge, with Lomack hitting a home run and Mills contributing a triple and multiple RBIs. Mitch Moralez and Jacob Sisto also added to the tally with significant hits. On the pitching front, Logan Lee secured the win with six innings of work, giving up only three runs while striking out two. The Mustangs continue a commanding start to the season improving to 4-1.
Missoula Paddleheads 13, Idaho Falls Chukars 21
The Idaho Falls Chukars secured a high-scoring victory against the Missoula PaddleHeads, winning 21-13. The Chukars' offense was relentless, scoring in six of the eight innings they played, including a seven-run fifth inning and a six-run eighth inning. Jacob Jablonski led the Chukars with 4 hits and 4 RBIs along with Brett Barrera and Owen Young both with 3 hits. Despite the PaddleHeads' effort, highlighted by Tyler Johnson's home run and multiple hits from Alec Sanchez and Reece Yeargain, they were unable to keep pace with the Chukars.
Grand Junction Jackalopes 1, Boise Hawks 7
The Boise Hawks proved to be too much for the Grand Junction Jackalopes, securing a 7-1 victory. The Hawks' offense was powered by key contributions from Micah Yonamine, who scored twice, and Noah Marcelo, who drove in two runs. Patrick Merino also added a triple, driving in a run. On the mound, Robert Dudzinski pitched a stellar eight innings, allowing only one run and striking out two, earning the win. Drew Sackett provided the lone highlight for the Jackalopes with a solo home run in the eighth inning.
Oakland Ballers 2, Glacier Range Riders 3
The Glacier Range Riders edged out the Oakland Ballers with a 3-2 victory. Ben Fitzgerald and Christian Kirtley powered the Range Riders' offense, each hitting home runs. Fitzgerald's solo shot in the second inning and Kirtley's homer in the third gave the Range Riders an early lead. Despite a late rally by the Ballers, including an RBI groundout by Myles Jefferson and a fielder's choice RBI by Austin Davis, the Range Riders held on. Cooper Benson earned the win, pitching five strong innings with only one run allowed. Jack Lynch secured the save with a scoreless ninth inning.
