PBL Players of the Month -- June
The PBL Players of the Month awards recognize players who stood out and led their respective teams to success over the course of the past week. Each month, the PBL will select one position player and one pitcher for recognition.
PBL Players of the Month (June - 2025)
Hitter of the Month: Ben Rosengard, (IF), Idaho Falls Chukars
Benjamin Rosengard takes home Pioneer League Player of the Month honors by hitting .505 with 6 doubles, 4 triples, and 7 home runs. He paced the league with his on-base skills (.618 OBP), leading the league in hits (48) and times reaching base safely (75). Not surprisingly, Rosengard led the league with an astounding 40 runs scored in 23 games. Rosengard also packed a punch, finishing the month second in slugging percentage (.874) and third in extra-base hits (17). To round things out, he also added 4 stolen bases.
Pitcher of the Month: Justin Fuson, (P), Billings Mustangs
Justin Fuson shut down the opposition en route to Pioneer League Pitcher of the Month by going 2-0 with a 1.96 ERA and 25 strikeouts in 23 innings pitched over 5 games, 4 starts. Fuson was a model of consistency, allowing 2 or fewer earned runs in each outing, and he pitched at least 6 innings in 3 of 4 starts. He was the only pitcher to pitch at least 20 innings and post an ERA under 2.40.
