Hitter of the Week: Justin Johnson, RedPocket Mobiles

Johnson earned Hitter of the Week honors after producing an extraordinary six-game power streak against the Yuba-Sutter Freebirds.

Johnson batted .481 with a .548 on-base percentage and a 1.148 slugging percentage, going 13-for-27 with six home runs, 11 RBI, nine runs scored, four walks, 31 total bases, and a 1.697 OPS. Most impressively, he homered in all six games of the series while recording at least one hit, one run, and one RBI each night.

His week opened with a 4-for-5 performance that included a solo home run and two runs scored on June 9. Johnson added three hits, another homer, two RBI, and three runs in a 24-8 victory the following night. He continued the streak with home runs in each of the next four games, including two-run blasts on June 12 and June 13, before driving in three runs in the Mobiles' 7-1 victory on June 14.
