COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – For two years in a row, the Rocky Mountain Vibes fans have helped make a difference for those in need. Starting in 2024 and continuing this year, when the Vibes have a Sunday home game at blocktickets Park, fans can donate two non-perishable items and receive a free general admission ticket to the game. Last year 2,400 pounds of food were donated to Colorado's Care and Share warehouse facility.
This season, with King Soopers as the corporate partner, over 1,000 pounds of food have already been donated during the promotion's first three games.
The community impact is very real to Rocky Mountain's Director of Marketing Jen Burke. She said, "We are thrilled to this point with how the community has responded."
With five Sunday home games remaining on the schedule, the Vibes feel they can break last year's initial record. "What a great opportunity for fans and families alike to make a donation to help those in need and save money on purchasing a ticket to our family funday Sundays," Burke wrapped up.
Next Sunday, July 6, the Vibes host the Oakland Ballers with gates opening to fans at 11 a.m.
