Pioneer Baseball League Sets New Attendance Record in 2025, Surpassing 1.1 Million Fans
The Pioneer Baseball League’s remarkable rise shows no signs of slowing down. In 2025, fans turned out in record-breaking numbers once again, pushing league-wide attendance past 1.1 million and setting a new standard for community-driven professional baseball.
The Pioneer Baseball League has reached another historic milestone! Over the course of the 2025 season, 1,102,652 fans came through the gates of PBL ballparks—an average of 2,073 per game—establishing a brand-new attendance record and building on last year's breakthrough of surpassing one million fans for the first time.
This year's achievement highlights the league's growing momentum and its deepening ties to local communities. With the addition of events such as Home Run Derby Night in the PBL, or even the introduction of new teams into the league this year, PBL clubs have become destinations that draw fans from across the region. These innovations, combined with unique experiences like the Oakland Ballers' AI-managed game and community-focused promotions such as donation-driven entry nights, further expanded the league's reach. By blending fresh entertainment with meaningful connections, the PBL has created an environment where every ballpark visit feels special—whether it's families enjoying fireworks, kids taking part in youth clinics, or fans witnessing history unfold on the field.
The Ogden Raptors once again stood out as a leader in attendance, welcoming 160,192 fans this season, with another club closely behind at 155,523. Strong showings across all franchises ensured that the record wasn't just the product of one or two markets but the result of consistent support league-wide.
The 2025 season was filled with memorable moments—from dramatic late-season playoff pushes to standout performances by rising stars who are quickly becoming fan favorites. Off the field, clubs continued to expand community programs, youth engagement, and ballpark enhancements, further strengthening the PBL's presence as both an entertainment option and a civic tradition.
As the postseason begins, the PBL celebrates this new attendance record as a reflection of the league's bright future. With innovation, competitive balance, and community connection at its core, the Pioneer League is poised to carry its momentum into 2026 and beyond.
