PBL Players of the Week - Week 6
Each week, the Pioneer League will recognize one hitter and one pitcher whose performance led their teams. The Players of the Week awards highlight the top contributors across the league during the 2025 season.
Week Six: June 23 - June 29, 2025
Pitcher of the Week: Grant Taylor, (RHP), Glacier Range Riders
Grant Taylor turned in two stellar performances to earn Pitcher of the Week. Over 14.2 innings pitched, Taylor compiled 15 strikeouts and allowed just two earned runs. He started the week with 5.2 shutout innings and came back to finish the week with a complete game victory, both against Great Falls. Taylor's heroic efforts led the Pioneer League in innings and strikeouts.
Hitter of the Week: Dillon Tatum, (C), Oakland Ballers
Dillon Tatum powered his way to Player of the Week honors by going 11-for-20 with 6 home runs, 1 double, 21 RBI, and 9 runs scored. Tatum led the league with 6 home runs, 21 RBI, and a 1.500 slugging percentage. In addition to his prolific power, he also recorded the second-most walks on his way to a league-leading .679 on-base percentage.
