This Week in the PBL (June 15 - 21)
This Week in the PBL, nearly a month into the 2026 season, the standings are starting to tell the early story. Here’s a look at how all 12 clubs rank through games played as of June 21.
Billings Mustangs (23-6)
Billings went 5-1 during the week, taking two of three games against Missoula and two of three against Great Falls. Missoula won the June 17 game in the knockout round after the clubs finished tied 11-11.
Cameron Bowen and A.J. Shaver each drove in seven runs in a 27-7 win over Missoula. John McHenry hit three home runs on June 18, while Kyle Micklus homered four times during the week. Bowen added five RBIs against Great Falls.
Billings travels to Missoula next for a six-game series.
Boise Hawks (18-12)
Boise went 2-4 during the week, losing two of three games at Idaho Falls and two of three against Ogden.
Ethan Underwood, Parker Depasquale, Joseph Kalafut, and Darryl Jackson each drove in three runs in a 19-3 win over Idaho Falls on June 17. Austin Folds scored three runs and stole three bases in Boise's 9-8 win over Ogden on June 19. Underwood drove in three runs, and Wyatt Grant added two RBIs in the June 20 game, which ended tied before Ogden won the knockout round.
Boise hosts Ogden for three games before traveling to Idaho Falls for a three-game series.
Glacier Range Riders (16-14)
Glacier went 2-4 during the week, winning one of three at Great Falls and one of three against Missoula. Andrew Collins drove in four runs and Donovan Ratfield added three RBIs in a 14-1 win on June 16.
Against Missoula, Tommy Rover and Carson Hornung each had two-RBI games, while Kyle Ashworth drove in seven runs and Carson Garner added six RBIs in a 21-2 win on June 21.
Glacier hosts the RedPocket Mobiles for a six-game series next.
Great Falls Voyagers (12-18)
Great Falls went 3-3 during the week, winning two of three against Glacier and one of three against Billings.
Aidan Redahan went 4-for-5 with three RBIs on June 17, and Sam Lavin threw a complete game shutout on June 18. Redahan added four hits against Billings, while Vincent Temesvary homered and drove in two runs in the June 21 game.
Great Falls travels to Idaho Falls for three games before heading to Ogden for a three-game series.
Idaho Falls Chukars (5-24)
Idaho Falls went 3-3 during the week, winning two of three against Boise and one of three against RedPocket.
Justin Trimble hit two home runs and drove in six runs on June 16, while Tyler Wyatt drove in four. Sam Canton recorded four hits on June 18. Against RedPocket, Garret Ostrander drove in five runs, Trimble added four RBIs, and Ty Dooley hit two home runs in a 23-12 win on June 21.
Idaho Falls hosts Great Falls for three games before hosting Boise for a three-game series.
Long Beach Coast (24-6)
Long Beach went 5-1 during the week, taking two of three games at Oakland before sweeping Yuba-Sutter. Their one loss came on June 16 when Oakland won the knockout round.
Cooper Vest drove in six runs against Oakland, Matthew Bardowell recorded five hits, and Derek Laferriere collected four hits in the series. Against Yuba-Sutter, Brett Wozniak threw six scoreless innings in a 13-0 win. Eddy Pelc drove in four runs, Jacob Jablonski recorded three RBIs, and Laferriere went 4-for-4 in the series finale.
Long Beach travels to Yuba-Sutter for three games before heading to Modesto for a three-game series.
Missoula PaddleHeads (15-15)
Missoula started off the week by hosting the Billings Mustangs for the first three games, dropping all three of them. The PaddleHeads allowed a total of 65 runs over that series. For their last three games over the weekend, they traveled to Glacier to take on the Range Riders.
Winning the first two games 11-5 and 7-3, then losing the final game of the week 21-2. In the win on Friday, Nich Klemp and Charles (CJ) Dean both hit a home run and drove in three runs each. On Saturday, their starting pitcher Reece Fields was the star, throwing 5.0 innings allowing zero runs while striking out eight, improving his season record to 3-0.
This week, Missoula will host the Billings Mustangs again for all six of their games.
Modesto Roadsters (18-12)
To begin this past week, the Yuba-Sutter Freebirds visited Modesto for the first three games of the week. Then, the Roadsters traveled to Oakland for three games against the Ballers.
Modesto swept the Freebirds in their three-game series. On Tuesday, Max Handron had two doubles with six RBIs, with Osiris Johnson, Jacob Lojewski, and Kingston Liniak all hitting home runs in the 22-10 win. On Thursday, Devyn Hernandez took the hill going 8.0 innings allowing only two hits and striking out eight batters en route to a 9-0 shutout win.
Over the weekend, the Roadsters took two of three from Oakland, winning Saturday by a score of 18-12, then Sunday 18-8..
This week, the Roadsters will host the Ballers for three, then the Long Beach Coast for three more.
Oakland Ballers (13-17)
This past week the Ballers opened with three games against the Long Beach Coast at home, then hosted the Modesto Roadsters. After winning in Knockout Round fashion on Tuesday, the Ballers went on to lose 18-5 and 12-8, going 1-2 in the series against Long Beach Coast.
On Friday versus the Modesto Roadsters Tremayne Cobb blasted two home runs and notched five RBIs while Nick Leehey hit a two-run homer. Charlie Hurley started on the mound for the Ballers throwing six solid innings, Matthew Maloney closed for the team, leading to a 7-5 win.
Oakland lost the next two games and ended the week with a 2-4 record. This week, they travel to Modesto for three games, then host the Yuba-Sutter Freebirds for three additional matchups.
Ogden Raptors (18-12)
The Raptors began this week hosting the RedPocket Mobiles for the first three games, then traveled to Boise for their three weekend games against the Hawks.
After winning 12-11 and 7-6 on Tuesday and Wednesday, Ogden hit five home runs and crossed the plate 24 times on Thursday. Colson Lawrence and Sebastian Greico both had two of the five homers with Hank Dodson hitting the last. Nico Saltaformaggio went eight innings on the hill allowing four runs, earning the win to improve his record to 5-0 on the season.
After losing the opener against the Hawks 9-8, the Raptors won 10-9 and 10-2 to finish the week. Jason Schaaf pitched for Ogden, going seven innings allowing zero runs and striking out seven of the Hawks' hitters.
This week, they will travel to Boise, then host the Great Falls Voyagers for three games apiece.
RedPocket Mobiles (7-23)
The RedPocket Mobiles began the week by getting swept by the Raptors losing 12-11, 7-6, and 24-7. The Mobiles then traveled to Idaho Falls to face the Chukars.
On Friday, the Mobiles won 15-8 with Jordan Harrison-Dudley hitting two home runs, Hector Nieves hit one, and Marquis Jackson hit another. Winning again Saturday, the Mobiles hit a whopping eight home runs as a team, leading to an 18-12 victory.
This week, the RedPocket Mobiles will travel to Glacier to play the Range Riders for a six game set.
Yuba-Sutter Freebirds (10-20)
The Freebirds were in Modesto playing the Roadsters to begin the week, then traveled to Long Beach for their last three games of the week.
Yuba-Sutter was swept by the Roadsters to start the week, allowing a combined 47 runs over the three games and getting shutout on Thursday. Against the Long Beach Coast, they were shutout once again Thursday to begin the series losing 13-0, then lost the next two games 9-6 and 6-2.
The Freebirds look to bounce back this week hosting the Long Beach Coast for three games, then traveling to Oakland to face the Ballers for three games.
