Colorado Rockies Acquire Aidan Redahan from Great Falls Voyagers
Redahan earns an affiliated opportunity after batting .459 with power, speed and exceptional contact production for the Voyagers.
Aidan Redahan has joined the Colorado Rockies organization after producing one of the most impressive offensive starts in the Pioneer Baseball League. The versatile infielder returned to the Great Falls Voyagers in 2026 and quickly established himself as a dangerous all-around hitter, combining elite contact ability with extra-base power, speed and defensive flexibility.
Redahan batted .459 with a .504 on-base percentage and .730 slugging percentage over 24 games for Great Falls in 2026, producing a 1.234 OPS across 124 plate appearances. He collected 51 hits in 111 at-bats, including 13 doubles, one triple and five home runs, while driving in 27 runs and scoring 26. Redahan also stole 15 bases in 16 attempts and struck out only six times, demonstrating an unusual combination of aggression, contact and control of the strike zone.
His performance placed him among the Pioneer League's early statistical leaders. Redahan ranked first in batting average, fifth in doubles, eighth in slugging percentage and ninth in stolen bases at the time of his acquisition. His season included several standout performances, highlighted by a five-hit, five-RBI game against the Glacier Range Riders on May 30 and four-hit efforts against Glacier and Billings during June.
Redahan's first experience with Great Falls came during the 2025 season. In 27 games with the Voyagers, he hit .256 with a .330 on-base percentage and .333 slugging percentage. His complete 2025 Great Falls stat line included 20 hits in 78 at-bats, four doubles, one triple, 10 RBIs, 12 runs scored, seven walks and three stolen bases. That initial professional experience provided a foundation for the significant offensive jump he made upon returning to the Pioneer League in 2026.
Redahan has already carried his production into affiliated baseball, beginning his time in the Arizona Complex League with three hits, two walks, one RBI and a stolen base over his first two games in the Rockies organization. His ability to play first base, second base and third base gives Colorado additional defensive options to complement a productive offensive profile.
The Pioneer Baseball League congratulates Aidan Redahan on earning this opportunity with the Colorado Rockies organization. His development from his first season in Great Falls to his dominant return in 2026 demonstrates the value of continued work, professional experience and perseverance. The league wishes Redahan continued success as he takes the next step in his professional baseball career.
Players looking to pursue a similar opportunity can put their talents on display at the PBL Tryout Camp on July 17 and 18 at Bryant Field in Marysville, California. Participants will take part in professional-style workouts and live-game action in front of representatives from all 12 Pioneer League clubs, providing a direct opportunity to be evaluated by league decision-makers. With every club expected to select at least one player from the camp, the event could serve as an important first step toward beginning a professional career and eventually earning an opportunity with an MLB organization.
